We work in close conjunction with statutory and non-statutory organisations including Drug & Alcohol Action Teams (DAATs), Adult and Young Person services, Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships, Community Safety Teams and Government Offices, to deliver high quality, effective and comprehensive evidence based solutions.

CARE PLANNING PACKAGES
Our experiences of auditing service providers in both the statutory and charitable sectors at Tiers 3 and 4, has highlighted effective care planning as being arguably the most significant challenge within organisations. Meeting best practice as well as statutory requirements and the guidelines of the NTA/HCC, QuADS, and MoC have often been tokenistic and in many cases would not hold up under detailed scrutiny.
To assist in the implementation and practical application of meaningful and robust care planning and coordination, Amundsen Consulting have developed a range of Care Planning Development Packages that can be structured towards the needs of your particular organisation.
The aim is to create a simple yet comprehensive process by which all relevant client information is used in a way which is personalised and which genuinely facilitates both clients and case workers in clarifying and prioritising therapeutic objectives over time.
Each Care Planning Development Package seeks to address the increasingly stringent demands of the NTA, Healthcare Commission and DAATs in terms of quality, accountability and statutory compliance. The package will raise the awareness of service managers and crucially case workers to the statutory/best practice obligations under which they are now required to operate. All activities will be DANOS mapped and related to the requirements of Models of Care and QuADS where appropriate.
The service is relevant to all parties, whether they be:
• DAATs requiring an independent assessment of the quality of services they are
funding,
• Purchasers who need to know that they are getting what they pay for and
that clients have proper care plans in place,
• Clients who in the past have often simply been required to follow a standard
generic programme,
• Treatment managers who are required to take individual client needs into
account.
The Full Care Planning Package will be tailored to meet your specific needs but typically will include;
• a day at your service meeting with managers and case workers, reviewing
a cross section of care plans
• a full days training with relevant staff
• a follow up visit at a later date to assess progress
• ongoing support throughout the process
